National Expert for Hotel Reception Deputy Chef Expert - EuroSkills 2027

Miloš Pešić, a hospitality professional with nearly twenty years of experience in the hotel industry, including ten years in managerial and general management positions, is now also using his knowledge and experience to support the development of young professionals in the field.

As a hospitality expert, he participated in the EuroSkills competition in Denmark, where the Serbian team achieved a notable result, including a Medal for Excellence won by Katarina Đorđević. He will continue his engagement within the WorldSkills system at the EuroSkills competition in Düsseldorf in 2027, where he will serve as Deputy Chief Expert for the Hotel Reception discipline.

At this year’s SITCON conference, he will deliver a lecture entitled “Why Participate in the WorldSkills Competition 2027?”, during which he will highlight to students the importance of such an experience for developing practical skills, professional confidence and future careers in tourism and hospitality.

WorldSkills competitions provide young people with the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real-world professional situations, develop key competencies, exchange experiences and connect with experts from different countries. For tourism and hospitality students, this represents an important step towards gaining a better understanding of contemporary industry standards and building a successful professional career.
